Sponsors appear first when buyers browse their category in their country, marked “Sponsored”, and keep that place for 12 months. Five places per category per country. Works with any plan.

Billing questions

How plans and payments work

How do I pay?

By M-Pesa: choose a plan, enter your Safaricom number and approve the prompt on your phone. The plan switches on as soon as Safaricom confirms the payment. Card payments are not available yet.

Is a plan per business or per account?

Per listing. Each business listing carries its own plan, so upgrading one listing does not change any other listing you manage.

Do annual plans renew automatically?

No. EABD never charges you without your approval on your phone. You renew from Billing in your dashboard when you are ready.

What happens when Premium ends?

Premium features stay on for a 7-day grace period after the end date. After that the listing moves to Basic, which it keeps for life: a business that has paid for a plan never goes back to Free. Its profile, reviews and history stay intact.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Basic is bought once and kept for life. Buying Premium for a listing on Basic keeps Basic aside, and the listing is back on Basic when the Premium year ends. Time left on a Premium year is not carried over to a new purchase, so renew near the end of the year if that matters to you.

Is the Free plan really free?

Yes. A Free listing costs nothing and does not expire. It shows your business with its phone number and website. Upgrade when you want buyers to message you, a map, more photos, categories, products, jobs or search placement.

What is a Category Sponsor?

A separate, fixed place in the first five of a category list (for example Law Firms in Kenya) for 12 months, marked “Sponsored”. It works with any plan, including Free. Book an open position from Category Sponsor in your dashboard and pay by M-Pesa. You can renew before it ends.
