We only include a business in our newsletters and magazine when we believe it adds real value for our readers. Our editors review every request, and we may decline one that doesn't fit before any payment is taken. Sponsored content is always labelled, no email carries more than three sponsored items, and no business appears more than once in the same email.

What we offer

Sponsor card

A card in the Sponsors section of the email, built from your EABD profile: logo, category, town and up to three true highlights such as an award, the Verified badge or your rating.

Questions

What do you decline?

We do not accept betting and gambling, adult content, weapons, tobacco and vaping, political or religious campaigning, pyramid and MLM schemes, crypto investment schemes, guaranteed returns, unlicensed medicines or health claims, alcohol. Regulated businesses (banking and microfinance, insurance, health providers and pharmacies, education institutions, real estate developments, financial advice) need a licence or registration number. We also decline content we cannot check or that would not help our readers.

Deadlines and proofs

Payment is due 5 working days before a send, content 3 working days before, and everything locks 24 hours before. Two rounds of changes are included. Without approved content, your sponsor card runs instead.

Cancellations and refunds

100% back when you cancel 10 or more working days before the send; 50% back when you cancel 4 or more working days before the send; closer than that, no refund but one free move to another date. If we skip or cannot send an edition, your placement moves to the next one, or you get your money back.

Readers' privacy

Advertisers never get readers' names or addresses. Reports show totals only, and link scanners and machine opens are left out.
